Union Social

A community of Young Adults united in faith, fun and friendship.

Union Social Young Adults was formed in 2022 as a place for young adults (aged 18-30) to gather together to grow closer to one another and to Christ.  We know the specific challenges today’s young adults face and strive to not let one another go at it alone.

Belong. Believe. Become.

God did not create you to be alone. Even in Genesis, He said it is not good for people to be alone, so we want to help you find community. Whether you’re in college or your career, you BELONG here with us. You can belong before you believe. Once you BELIEVE, we want to see Jesus become real in your life. We know that He has great plans for you, and we want to see you BECOME all that He has created you to be. He has given you gifts and talents to be used for a purpose; we believe that you have been created with purpose for purpose. Come as you are and experience the welcoming community of Union Social.

Union Social gatherings begin at 7:00 on Tuesdays in the VIVID Youth space at Renaissance Church.  They’re a great place to get to know some new people. We’ll have a blast playing a game or two, and then you can relax and enjoy the worship and message. And if you’re looking for a place to just hang out and chat, this is definitely the place for you – there’s plenty of time to just hang out and grab a snack. So come on down and check us out. We’d love to have you!

At Union Social, we love any excuse to get together and have some fun. Whether it’s laser tag, bowling, or just a game night at someone’s house, we always have a good time. Going out to dinner together is also a great way to connect with other young adults. It’s always nice to get to know people outside of regular meetings, and group outings are the perfect way to do that.

At Union Social, we believe that a community is only as strong as its ability to come together and help one another. That’s why we make it a point to serve our local community in any way we can. Whether it’s lending a helping hand at the Renaissance Food Bank or spending a day building houses with Habitat for Humanity, we love being able to give back. And we have a lot of fun doing it, too! There’s nothing quite like coming together with others who share your passion for making a difference.

About Renaissance Church

Renaissance Church was founded in High Point in 2008 by lead pastor Jason Goins. From the beginning, community outreach and assisting those in need has been a priority for the church, which operated a weekly food bank starting in 2010. In 2015, the church moved to Jamestown, but its commitment to serving the community remains strong. The church is passionate about sharing the love of God with those around them, and its weekly food pantry is just one way it does that. Beginning in 2021, Renaissance Church launched CityServe Triad, a partner with CityServe – and international organizations that empowers local churches to serve their communities with free clothing, home goods and more. CityServe Triad serves as a hub to service churches across the region. Renaissance Church meets Sunday mornings at 10am at 5114 Harvey Road in Jamestown where everyone is welcome to encounter God in a relaxed, safe, and genuine worship experience.
