Every one of us has a story. We will help you learn how to share what God is doing in your life so that you can watch God change the lives of others.
We often say that R2 is “a church without walls.” And what we mean is that if all we ever do at R2 is get together on Sunday mornings, sing songs, and listen to sermons, we have failed. No, the point of Sunday mornings is to prepare us to take out the good news of Jesus into the world. As a church, we are always finding ways to bless the world out there. You can sign up below to volunteer at our Food Bank or to sign up for our next outreach event.
Four times a year, our Covenant Partners gather, and we celebrate all that God has done, and we look forward to what God is going to do. If you are interested in becoming a Covenant Partner or are already a Covenant Partner, we invite you to our Partnership Summit. You’ll leave energized and in-the-know.
Leading others is one of the best ways for you to share your story, as you take the lessons that you’ve learned on your journey with Jesus, and you teach them to others. And we know that putting yourself out there to lead is a big deal. So, here’s how you can get started. Email Pastor Jace Breeback, Next Steps Director OR come to see us at our NEXT STEPS table in the lobby.
Renaissance Church was founded in High Point in 2008 by lead pastor Jason Goins. From the beginning, community outreach and assisting those in need has been a priority for the church, which operated a weekly food bank starting in 2010. In 2015, the church moved to Jamestown, but its commitment to serving the community remains strong. The church is passionate about sharing the love of God with those around them, and its weekly food pantry is just one way it does that. Beginning in 2021, Renaissance Church launched CityServe Triad, a partner with CityServe – an international organization that empowers local churches to serve their communities with free clothing, home goods and more. CityServe Triad serves as a hub to service churches across the region.
We’d love to have you join us this Sunday at our Jamestown campus. Visit our Plan a Visit page to find out more about what you can expect on your first visit. You can even RSVP for a personal tour and pre-register your children for GLOWkids!
