Renaissance Ladies

Find your people. Find your purpose.

VIVID Youth exists to help students in grades 6 through 12, meet Jesus and teach them how to follow Him, step by step.

We believe that youth aren’t the church of tomorrow, they’re the church of today! VIVID Youth is an opportunity for teens to gather in a safe place to find friendships, grow in their faith, and learn to be leaders and influencers in a positive way for their friends.

We know teens are better together, and at VIVID, we have a ton of fun! Whether it’s playing games or simply hanging out, we love spending time with our friends. And as we grow in our faith together, we learn how to be positive leaders and influencers in the world around us.

So if you’re looking for a place to belong, come join us at VIVID Youth!

WHAT TO EXPECT

A typical night at VIVID Youth consists of snacks, hanging out, games, team competitions, small group time, worship, and a short message that’s topical to the lives of today’s teens. Prayer is also a big part of what we do as a youth group as pray for each other or for people who are going through tough times.

IT’S NOT JUST SUNDAY NIGHTS

From paintball to zip lining, there’s no shortage of adrenaline-pumping activities that VIVID Youth enjoys as a group! Whether it’s a group trip to the trampoline park, concert, or just to watch one of student’s soccer game, we always have a blast. Whatever the activity, we always have a great time bonding as a team and making memories that will last a lifetime.

LEARNING TO SERVE

Caring about others is an important part of being a part of a community. At VIVID Youth, we have plenty of opportunities to learn by serving those in need. Every month, we gather together to help sort and distribute food at the Renaissance Food Bank. It’s a great way to give back to our community and help make sure everyone has enough to eat. We also volunteer with other local ministries, providing a helping hand where it’s needed most.

About Renaissance Church

Renaissance Church was founded in High Point in 2008 by lead pastor Jason Goins. From the beginning, community outreach and assisting those in need has been a priority for the church, which operated a weekly food bank starting in 2010. In 2015, the church moved to Jamestown, but its commitment to serving the community remains strong. The church is passionate about sharing the love of God with those around them, and its weekly food pantry is just one way it does that. Beginning in 2021, Renaissance Church launched CityServe Triad, a partner with CityServe – and international organizations that empowers local churches to serve their communities with free clothing, home goods and more. CityServe Triad serves as a hub to service churches across the region. Renaissance Church meets Sunday mornings at 10am at 5114 Harvey Road in Jamestown where everyone is welcome to encounter God in a relaxed, safe, and genuine worship experience.
